MSC Cruises opens sales for 2028 Alaska summer season

MSC Cruises has opened sales for its Summer 2028 Alaska itineraries. It will mark the cruise line’s third season in Alaska when it begins on April 24, 2028, with the  MSC Poesia sailing weekly seven-night Alaska itineraries from Seattle through Sept. 18, 2028.

The MSC Poesia has recently completed a major refurbishment and now features a brand-new MSC Yacht Club, the cruise line’s luxury “ship-within-a-ship” concept offering 69 elegantly appointed suites, 24-hour butler and concierge service and access to a private oasis of facilities including a dedicated restaurant, lounge, private sundeck with whirlpools and grill restaurant and bar.

The enhancements also included adding two new specialty dining venues – Butcher’s Cut, an authentic American-style steakhouse, and Kaito Sushi Bar – inspired by the Far East where guests can savour expertly crafted sushi and exquisite authentic Asian dishes.

Also on offer for guests is an enhanced MSC Aurea Spa and MSC Gym Powered by Technogym®, complete with a Gentleman’s Barber, various workout studios and the Top 15 Exclusive Solarium, a spacious outdoor area for Aurea guests.

Gianni Onorato, CEO of MSC Cruises said: “Alaska has quickly become one of our most popular destinations, and opening sales for a third season reflects the strong demand we’ve seen since launching there this year. Expanding our program for the 2028 summer season gives guests even more opportunities to explore this extraordinary region and plan their holiday in advance. “

And Onorato noted: “Following her recent upgrade, MSC Poesia will offer guests the finest hospitality MSC Cruises is known for, with enhanced facilities and the newly introduced MSC Yacht Club.”
