MSC Partners With Cirque Du Soleil

MSC Cruises has unveiled the details of a long-term partnership with Cirque du Soleilá that it says will set new standards in live entertainment at sea.

Describing it as a first at sea, the partnership will see Cirque du Soleil creating brand new shows exclusively for MSC Cruises’ guests sailing aboard the line’s next-generation Meraviglia ships. And those shows will be experienced in a multi-million dollar, ground-breaking entertainment and dining venue that MSC and Cirque du Soleil will design in collaboration.

The venue – a $21 million investment – will feature shows six nights a week, two performances per night and guests will be able to enjoy the show while at the same time enjoying the MSC Cruises’ culinary experience.

Shows and related dining options will be available only to MSC Cruises guests aboard the four next-generation Meraviglia project ships, with the first of them – MSC Meraviglia — set to sail its inaugural season in the Mediterranean beginning June 2017.
