MSC Suspends Ukraine, Egypt Calls

MSC-cruises-egypt-daily

MSC Cruises is suspending calls in Ukraine and Egypt by its ships, the Sinfonia, Opera, Fantasia and Musica. As a result, MSC will be offering its passengers a choice of a number of Mediterranean destinations as alternatives.

The cruise company noted that it was making the change “in response to clear market demand” and as a result from the autumn of 2015 to the winter of 2016, the Sinfonia, Opera, Fantasia and Musica will variously incorporate the Greek islands of Rhodes and Crete, as well as Cyprus and Israel into their sailings.

MSC said that the itinerary changes attest to its permanent focus on the safety of guests and crew – the number one priority at all times.

In making the announcement, MSC also revealed that, again in response to the high demand, the Opera will increase the frequency of its itinerary calling at the archipelagos of the Canary Islands, Spain and Madeira, Portugal with an overnight stay in Funchal/Madeira for her schedule in the Canary Islands during the winter 2016.

As well, MSC Cruises will call at Casablanca four times in the winter of 2016, offering travellers the possibility to take a closer look at one of the most fascinating regions in the world.
