NCL puts partners first, eliminates NCFs

In a message to its travel partners, Norwegian Cruise Line said that in 2026, it’s celebrating 15 years of Partners First in 2026, with the introduction of a major enhancement that reinforces its ongoing commitment to being the easiest cruise line for travel advisors to work with.

“Building on our legacy of freedom and flexibility — and alongside the return of the now commissionable Free at Sea Plus — NCL is eliminating all non-commissionable fares (NCFs) across all cruise fares. No fine print. No catch. Just more commission for you,” the cruise company said in its message to partners.

The change, which is permanent, came into effect on Dec. 26, 2025 and is for all sailings departing May 1, 2026, and beyond.

“It’s another meaningful step in strengthening our partnership and keeping your success at the center of everything we do,” the company said.

John Chernesky, Senior Vice President of Sales North America for Norwegian Cruise Line, said: “Travel advisors are the backbone of our industry, and their success is our success. Removing NCFs is a meaningful commitment to strengthening our partnership and ensuring advisors are fully rewarded for the value they bring to their clients and to NCL.”
