New Premium Class Services Available On Cathay

Cathay Pacific has introduced new products across its fleet that are designed to increase the level of luxury in its premium cabins. These new programs are being rolled out across all Cathay Pacific routes to its Canadian hubs.

An array of enhancements to the service, soft products and culinary offerings have been developed for the airline’s first and business class passengers. These have been conceived to give passengers a more holistic, sensory experience, starting from the moment they board.

At the heart of these elevated premium experiences is a new collaboration with Bamford, a luxury UK lifestyle brand that has designed a range of exclusive amenities, travel kits and beddings for travellers in both cabins, based on ethical and sustainable principles. These mesh with the airline’s new brand direction “Move Beyond,” which defines efforts to exceed customers’ expectations at every stage of their journey.

For instance, wellness is emphasized across the menus in both cabins. New recipes range from lighter options for the main and breakfast meals to healthy alternatives like “superfood” bowls and lighter protein side dishes. These are served on new contemporary tableware from renowned brands, including Noritake, Robert Welch and Riedel.

Added to the first class experience are a 600-thread-count sustainably sourced cotton mattress and duvet, a soft full-size pillow and branded male and female amenity kits with skincare products presented in glass bottles, all by Bamford.

Meanwhile, passengers in the business class cabins will settle in for the evening with a completely new range of bedding developed by Bamford. Highlights include a soft mattress topper along with a larger, plusher sleeping pillow and premium-quality slippers.

Bamford has also designed new branded business class amenity kits that will roll out progressively from Dec. 1. The unisex kits will be available in four colours that will rotate throughout the year.

These latest enhancements are in addition to a refreshed business class dining concept that was introduced earlier this year. Cathay Pacific also recently unveiled a major inflight entertainment expansion, including new long-haul economy class menus curated by renowned Hong Kong restaurant group Black Sheep Restaurants.
