Nominations open for CLIA Hall of Fame awards

Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) has opened nominations for the eighth annual Cruise Industry Hall of Fame, with 2012 inductees to be honoured at a gala dinner April 28 at cruise3sixty in Fort Lauderdale. In addition to choosing an outstanding past or present Cruise Retailer and Cruise Industry Executive, CLIA members are being asked for the first time to nominate a Cruise Sales Innovator – a cruise vacation retailer who stands out as an innovator, pioneering unique strategies, ideas, and programs that have significantly contributed to developing and growing the cruise vacation industry. Nominations will be accepted until Feb. 15. Nominations should be based on the following considerations: !!! Did the nominee’s accomplishments change or affect the cruise industry in a positive way?; !!! Can the nominee be considered a positive role model?; !!! What did the nominee accomplish that sets him or her apart from others in the industry?. CLIA’s cruise3sixty 2012 will be held April 25-30 at the Broward Country Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale.
