The Cypress Inn in Carmel-By-The-Sea, California has launched a two-month long salute to pooches of all shapes and sizes, with the offer featuring both value-priced accommodation and a host of perks for pups.

Available from Feb. 1 to March 31, 2016, the Cypress Inn’s Puppy Love package has rates starting at $225 double.

An iconic landmark since 1929 and part of the elite collection of Carmel Boutique Inns, Cypress Inn is co-owned by legendary Hollywood actress and animal rights enthusiast Doris Day.

The 44-guest room property is located just blocks from Carmel Beach and walking distance to more than 100 art galleries.

Cypress Inn is a bone’s throw from one of the nation’s top leash-free beaches — Carmel Beach – and it offers a variety of novel treats for pooches, including tricks for an upgrade upon arrival (based on availability), complimentary turn-down treat service and a special Cypress Inn logoed collar tag for Fido to tout his travels.

Plus the Inn also features Tea With Toto, Yappy Hour & Muttinis and High Five For Fido, where each
Puppy Love reservation includes a $10 donation to the Doris Day Animal Foundation (DDAF) – founded in 1978, DDAF provides grants and funding for a variety of programs directed to animals in need.

Cypress Inn was one of California’s first hotel properties to welcome pets in the mid-1980s and has since seen everything from parrots to potbellied pigs check in for an adventure by the sea. Standard operating procedure includes concierges carrying grain-free all-natural dog treats and all of the Inn’s 44 crisp, contemporary guestrooms appointed with dog bowls, plush dog beds and in-room fireplaces.
