The southern Spain region of Andalucia got the thumbs up from Spain’s consul in charge of tourism affairs Canada during a Toronto reception this week. “Andalucia is a great destination and I know you will love it,” said Laura Pena Alberdi, who praised it for having the “best beaches, best nature and best culture.” Pena Alberdi promised that those visiting Andalucia – home to such cities as Seville, Granada and Cordoba – can “breathe culture,” adding Andalucia has a “passion for life.” Seen here are Alegria Narvaez of the Embassy of Spain’s Tourism Section, AntonioMartin-Machuca Ales of the Andalucia Tourism Council and Pena Alberdi.
