More than 100 friends & clients were on hand for the ribbon cutting and grand opening of the new location of Barrett & Carlysle Travel at 2800 Skymark Ave Unit#4 in Mississauga recently. Co-owner, Harry Schneider said at the opening: “We’ve come full circle, returning to Mississauga after spending the last 22 years doing business in Etobicoke.” The company has operated on Burnhamthorpe near the West Mall for 9 years and prior to that, Schneider and his daughter, Tanja Schneider-Steinbock operated Prominent Travel at various locations in Etobicoke & Mississauga, dating back to 1978, where it all began in Central Parkway Mall. “We have expanded to a location more than three times the size of our original, offering client lounge and consulting areas and look forward to many happy and successful years in our new home,” observed Tanja Schneider Steinbock.
