A Kentucky trade mission to Canada wrapped up last night (May 28) with a special industry reception at the residence of Jim Dickmeyer (second from right), US Consul General, in Toronto. The mission was led by Kentucky Governor Steven L. Beshear (l), who told guests that the Bluegrass State “treasures” its friendship with Canada, its “biggest trading partner by far.” The evening featured a Bourbon tasting, hosted by the Kentucky Distiller’s Association. Dickmeyer and Beshear are pictured with Allan O’Dette (second from left), president of the Ontario Chamber of Commerce, and John Sawyer, president of the Oakville Chamber of Commerce.
