Visit Berlin and the Vienna Tourist Board held a joint presentation in Toronto on Oct. 24, 2013, with Armando Mendonca of VoX — speaking on behalf of Berlin — declaring that those who visit in December will find over 60 Christmas markets, while Elke Bachner of the Vienna Tourist Board in turn said that city also has many Christmas markets and New Year’s is a lively time in the city.
