A delegation of tourism officials from Washington, DC visited Toronto this week to promote the US capital region and celebrate the upcoming launch of Porter Airlines service next month. The city is getting set to host its annual National Cherry Blossom Festival. It is the festival’s 100th anniversary and this year’s celebrations have been extended to five weeks, March 20 to April 27.
