A group of Royal Scenic Certified Asia Specialists recently returned from a fam to the Philippines where they were able to witness first-hand the aftermath of Typhoon Haiyan. With months in advanced planning and after consultation with weather and tourism authorities with safety reassurances, the group of agents proceeded as scheduled and arrived the weekend after the typhoon passed over the Philippine archipelago. The trip was conducted in association with Shangri-La Hotels and the Philippines Department of Tourism, and visited Manila and Cebu.
