Winnipeg-based Frontiers North Adventures was the winner of the 2011 Responsible Travel & Tourism Forum’s (RTTF) Leadership Award. The award was launched in 2008 during the second annual RTTF event and Air Canada has been the sponsor of Leadership Award since its inception. In 2011, RTTF also introduced two new awards — one for a student and the other for a travel agency. This year’s Student Award winner was Johann Keens-Douglas and the Travel Agency Award was won by Flight Centre Canada. All of the awards were presented at a special awards luncheon held at the Delta Chelsea Hotel in Toronto.
