Helping out in Saint LuciaAir Canada Vacations and Air Canada Cargo facilitated the shipment of used fire fighting turnout gear to the Saint Lucia Fire Service thanks to the generosity of the St. John’s Regional Fire Department. The donation provided by the St. John’s Regional Fire Department, which consisted of eights sets of used turnout gear, including three hockey bags filled with jackets, boots, hats and more, will make a big difference in assisting the Saint Lucia Fire Service which was in dire need of the equipment. The donation was sent to Saint Lucia from Toronto, via St. John’s, and delivered on Jan. 24.
