High on NamibiaTravel agents got the lowdown on Air Namibia and the country it’s based in during a Thursday night presentation in Toronto. Those on hand were told by Air Namibia Canadian representative Reggie Kieda that the airline now has daily service between Frankfurt and the Namibian capital of Windhoek that uses Airbus aircraft with business and economy class seating. Air Namibia’s regional network also includes Johannesburg and Cape Town. The airline pays 7% commission and doesn’t have commission caps. Malcolm Griffiths of the Namibia Tourism Board, North America, praised Namibia as the “land of endless horizons,” offering the likes of such wildlife as elephants, cheetahs and rhinos. dramatic desert landscapes that also includes the Fish River Canyon, which he identified as the world’s second-largest canyon. and around 11 different ethnic groups.
