Approximately 280,000 locals and travellers from around the world flocked to the streets of Jerusalem this past weekend to view a spectacular Formula 1 road show and driving tour of the city. The first-ever display of Formula 1 racing in Israel included world-renowned stunt rider Chris Pfeiffer and champion superbike rider Max Biaggi, as well as other Formula 1 drivers, whizzing past Jerusalem’s collection of holy sites and modern attractions, including The Tower of David, Mamilla Alrov Avenue, Liberty Bell Park and Khan Theater, among other locations. Prior to the road show, spectators were able to visit an exhibition of Formula 1 sports cars, motorcycles and vintage cars at Jerusalem’s newly opened First Station entertainment complex.
