Led by DT Minich (second from right), president and CEO of Experience Kissimmee, a delegation of Florida tourism officials hosted an industry dinner at Bardi’s Steak House in Toronto last night (Oct. 6) to thank trade partners for all their support this past year. As a gateway to Walt Disney World, Minich said business has been good with visitor numbers on the rise, led by Canadians. On the horizon for the Central Florida destination is a US$750 million MargaritaVillage resort which will feature a hotel, vacation homes and condos, retail and beach area.
