As a sign of the strong commitment to the Canadian market, The Hon. Chester Cooper, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Investment & Aviation, Bahamas was in attendance at a high-level meeting in Montreal recently with the executive teams from Unique Vacations Inc. (affiliate of worldwide representatives of Sandals Resorts), Air Canada Vacations and the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism.

The focus of the meeting was on the opportunities for the Bahamas during the upcoming fall/winter season and how to maximize them, especially with the array of direct air service from Canada including Montreal-Nassau and Toronto-Georgetown, Great Exuma.
