Air Canada Vacations, along with the Curaçao Tourist Board, recently hosted 28 Canadian travel agents on a fam to the Dutch Island in the Eastern Caribbean. The group stayed at the Sunscape Curaçao Resort, Spa & Casino as well as the Santa Barbara Beach & Golf Resort. The week was filled with site inspections of the two hosting properties as well as the Van der Valk Kontiki Beach Resort, the Acoya Hotel Suites & Villas, the Avila Hotel, the Sonesta Kura Hulanda Hotel, the Renaissance Curaçao Resort & Casino, the Lodge Kura Hulanda & Beach Club, the Blue Bay Resort, the Papagayo Beach Resort, the Hilton Curaçao, the Floris Suite Hotel and the Curacao Marriott Beach Resort & Casino. The group also enjoyed a walking tour in Willemstad, the island’s capital city, which included a stop at the floating market and the Queen Emma Bridge. An island excursion to Kas di Pal’i Maishi and Shete Boka was also included as well as a sunset cruise with Pelican Express, and a visit to an ostrich farm and the Blue Curaçao Liqueur Factory.
