Javier Aranda, director of the Puerto Vallarta Tourism Board (middle), welcomed the arrival of Swoop’s inaugural flight to Mexico’s Puerto Vallarta International Airport from Hamilton, Ont. Tuesday (Jan. 8). He is joined by Steven Greenway, president of Swoop, Marc Murphy, managing director of the Riviera Nayarit CVB; Susana Rodriguez, director of Tourism of the Coast for the State of Jalisco; Saul Salabria, director of the Puerto Vallarta International Airport and members of Puerto Vallarta’s Mariachi. Swoop is also offering Puerto Vallarta twice-weekly service from British Columbia’s Abbotsford International Airport beginning Jan. 12.
