Tobago’s Division of Tourism and Transportation is making a pitch for Canadian vacationers. Jesille Peters, Tobago’s Canadian representative, told a Wednesday Toronto gathering that “we want Canadians down there,” adding visitors will find “uncrowded beaches and the best diving in the Caribbean.” Peters also praised Tobago as a great wedding location. Dave Cox of Toronto-based firm digitalcoconut in turn told the gathering that, “Each time I go to Tobago I’m reminded what paradise… looks like,” adding tourists will find “lily-white sand and turquoise water.” Pictured 0are Allison Ferguson of Aviareps, representing the Trinidad & Tobago Tourism Development Company in Canada, and Peters flanking a Tobago dancer.
