Calling all soupaholics.

There’s a new restaurant in town – boasting a tasty twist.

Until Feb. 21, those who visit the pop-up The Cantina by Campbell’s at Queen and Spadina will be able to enjoy complimentary walk-in lunch and dinnertime soup tasting, and take in cooking demos by the likes of chef Matt Dean Pettit, founder of Toronto’s Rock Lobster restaurants, author of The Great Lobster Cookbook and host of The Food Network Canada’s Super Snack Bros., pictured.

“The caveat is connecting people through soup,” Pettit said at a launch event last night (Feb. 1). “It’s something to slow down and connect to.”

Every guest who visits The Cantina by Campbell’s will be given a sticker to place on a mosaic wall to not only help build a piece of art, but Campbell Canada will donate one can of soup to the Daily Bread Food Bank for each sticker placed.

The goal is to raise over 15,000 cans and show that “We all soup.”
