Porter, Air Creebec connect on new partnership

A new partnership between Porter Airlines and Air Creebec will improve access to air travel across Canada, leveraging Porter’s growing domestic network and Air Creebec’s regional service to connect communities across Quebec and Northern Ontario.
Currently, Porter-Air Creebec connections can be made through Montreal (YUL) and Timmins, Ont. (YTS), linking Air Creebec destinations with Porter flights to points across Canada.
The new interline partnership will allow year-round connections from western Canada to destinations like Saguenay, Que., Chibougamau, Que., and Val-d’Or, Que., via Montreal.
Additional connectivity is available in Northern Ontario to routes like Attawapiskat, Ont., and Moosonee, Ont., via Timmins, part of Air Creebec’s network of 16 destinations across Quebec and Ontario.
Timmins connects to Porter’s Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport network, opening up access to even more destinations across Canada. For travellers, it means a single itinerary to destinations across the country.
Edmond Eldebs, senior vice president and chief commercial officer, Porter Airlines, explained that: “Porter’s new partnership with Air Creebec means more choices for passengers across Canada who travel through Quebec and Northern Ontario. This partnership provides opportunities for travellers to connect seamlessly across the country.”
Tanya Pash, president and chief executive officer, Air Creebec, said that: “Air Creebec was built by the Cree Nation to connect the communities we serve with the rest of the country.”
And Pash continued: “This partnership with Porter widens that door for every region on our network, from the James Bay coast to Abitibi and Saguenay. That access is what we have been working toward for more than 40 years.”
Passengers can now book combined Porter-Air Creebec itineraries through flyporter.com, aircreebec.ca, or travel agencies for flights starting Oct. 21, 2026.
