Porter Airlines adds new nonstop service between Ottawa and Hamilton

Porter Airlines has launched service between Ottawa International Airport (YOW) and John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport (YHM) today, offering travellers a new nonstop option between the nation’s capital and the heart of Southern Ontario’s Golden Horseshoe region.
Porter is the only airline operating nonstop between Ottawa and Hamilton, with twice-daily service on the 78-seat De Havilland Dash 8-400 aircraft. All Porter flights feature no middle seats, ensuring every passenger’s comfort, along with the airline’s signature service, including complimentary wine and beer served in glassware and premium snacks.

The new route also opens convenient connections through Ottawa to Atlantic Canada, with onward service to Charlottetown, Fredericton and Moncton.
With the launch of of the service to both Ottawa and Montreal Metropolitan Airport (MET), travellers in the Greater Hamilton Area now have nonstop flights to 13 Porter destinations, with a growing mix of domestic, transborder and sun destinations. Porter is also the only airline serving all three GTHA airports, Toronto City, Toronto Pearson and Hamilton, giving travellers across the region unmatched flexibility and connectivity.
