PressToday is Jamaica bound with Boutique Travel Services

PressToday is ready for takeoff to Jamaica to take part in the Travelpreneur Mastery Summit, hosted by Boutique Travel Services, along with 42 professional Canadian travel advisors.

“The annual event is designed to help independent travel entrepreneurs elevate their business skills and strategies while experiencing the destination and connecting with like-minded colleagues and travel supplier partners in destination,” Laurie Keith, founder and CEO of Boutique Travel Services told PressToday.

Taking place from May 24-31, the event is set to kick off with a two-day workshop under this year’s theme of “Passport To Prosperity.” Along with members from the boutique-style host travel agency, PressToday will be on location with Racquel Queensborough, Business Development Manager, Canada for the Jamaica Tourist Board, Lee Zanello, Director of Member Relations for Ensemble Travel, and supplier partners from Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts, Couples Resorts and Ocean Hotels by H10.

“The goal of this annual event is to help travel entrepreneurs grow sustainable and profitable travel businesses aligned with their personal and professional goals, whilst learning about and connecting with each other and travel supplier partners in destination,” Keith explained. “Important topics like marketing, sales, time management, lead nurturing, agent best practices, AI and automation are covered by leading expert speakers in an environment that leads to on-hands implementation and peer-to-peer networking and engagement.”

Since Boutique Travel Services first launched in 2019, the endeavour has grown from 12 travel advisors to over 100 dedicated travel entrepreneurs across Canada in the last couple of years.

The workshop component will be followed by three days of resort site inspections throughout Jamaica including Runaway Bay, Negril and Montego Bay, offering a taste of varying properties from villas to 5-star all-inclusive resorts.

“On the last day, attendees are given a choice to further explore the island with a variety of excursions including e-bikes, river rafting or zip-lining at Chukka Eco Post at Good Hope, or volunteer at the Women’s Shelter of Jamaica Foundation, and/or just relax and enjoy the hospitality of the resort,” added Keith.

Notably, Keith shared that the annual event has evolved considerably each year in scope, theme and participation.

“What started as a simple annual destination wedding FAM trip nine years ago through the company’s Romantic Planet Vacations brand, has grown considerably to include the business mastery component and with attendance by travel entrepreneur from across Canada who not only specialize in destination weddings, they specialize in all markets of travel from adventure, luxury, cruises, wellness and more,” she said.

This year marks a full circle moment as the inaugural destination event was held in Jamaica in 2016. Since then, the company and advisors have visited St. Lucia, Punta Cana, Costa Rica, Puerto Vallarta, and Cancun/Riviera Maya, Mexico.

“Future Travelpreneur Mastery Summits are also already underway with discussions with South and European destinations and cruise lines,” she added.
