Profitable Partnerships For Quebec

As part of the economic mission led by Tourism Minister Julie Boulet, the Quebec Tourism Industry Alliance (The Alliance) has announced partnerships with Ctrip and Tuniu, two of China’s leading travel companies.

The new partnershps will enable Quebec to better penetrate this growing market of 1.4 billion people.

It will also assist Quebec’s tourism industry in its constant improvement of its reception of Chinese customers.

The partnerships include developing new routes, increasing the accessibility of QuebecOriginal’s offerings and conducting joint marketing campaigns that will be attractive and relevant to this specific clientele.

Martin Soucy, president and CEO of the Alliance, commented:

“It is with great humility that we begin these collaborations with Tuniu and Ctrip. The data and expertise of our new partners will help us refine our knowledge of Chinese customers. We will be able to propel the offers of experiences that will make the difference to win the heart of the Chinese traveller. Through our participation in Minister Boulet’s mission, we are laying the foundation for long-term strategic cooperation relations in order to increase arrivals to Quebec from China.”
