Queen Mary 2 to Undergo Major Refurbishment
Cunard’s flagship, Queen Mary 2, will undergo an extensive 25-day dry dock refurbishment at the Blohm+Voss Shipyard in Hamburg, Germany next summer, May 27 to June 21.
The refurbishment is designed to further refine and refresh guest interior spaces and launch several new innovations.
These include the introduction of 15 Single Staterooms, 30 additional Britannia Club Balcony Staterooms (as well as the expansion of the dedicated Britannia Club restaurant) and a further 10 kennels for four-legged travellers.
The newly announced additional accommodation went on sale July 15 for Queen Mary 2 summer sailings from late June 2016.
