Rail Europe now managing all Eurostar business

Rail Europe, Inc. and Eurostar International Ltd, the high-speed international passenger train operator between London, Paris and Brussels, have announced that Rail Europe is now managing all of Eurostar’s North American travel trade business through all booking channels, including the GDS. Since Eurostar’s launch 17 years ago Rail Europe has, through its own channels, been Eurostar’s official distributor to the leisure trade market. In the expanded relationship, Rail Europe operates a dedicated GDS Support Desk, manages preferred business accounts, performs back office functions and communications to business trade accounts. “This is a win-win situation for travel agents as well as business and leisure travelers — it underscores Rail Europe’s continued support for agents along with sales efficiency in the marketplace,”said Frederic Langlois, president and CEO of Rail Europe, Inc. Bookings can now be made: online at agent.raileurope.com, by phone at 1-800-EUROSTAR and through all GDS systems (Amadeus, Sabre, Apollo, Worldspan) using IATA designator code 9F and printed on neutral ticket stock with ARC accounting code 814. Agents can also issue e-tickets for Eurostar through agent.raileurope.com, by phone at 1-800-EUROSTAR and on the GDS systems (except Worldspan). (http://www.agent.raileurope.com)
