The company presented its 2011 Awards of Recognition at the event, recognizing the Motel 6 Grande Prairie, AB as its new property of the year; the Motel 6 Headingley, MB for best customer service, Western Canada; the Motel 6 Mississauga, ON for best customer service, Eastern Canada; the Motel 6 Stony Plain, AB for best quality practices, Western Canada; the Motel 6 Peterborough, ON for best quality practices, Eastern Canada; the Studio 6 Mississauga, ON for best competitive RevPar Index, Eastern Canada; and the Motel 6 Saskatoon, SK for best competitive RevPar Index, Western Canada.
