Redefining Luxury

The SoHo Metropolitan has expanded its luxury extended-stay offering with the launch of the SoHo Metropolitan Residences Ottawa.

Occupying the top two floors of the SoHo Lisgar Condominiums (a 12-storey glass and brick building in downtown Ottawa), this project pairs 25 new luxury suites with the service and style of a boutique hotel and the space, comfort and furnishings essential to extended-stay guests.

SoHo Metropolitan Residences Ottawa is the second residence addition to the SoHo Metropolitan franchise, the first being the SoHo Metropolitan Residences Toronto, which launched in 2004 with 54 suites.

Similar to its sister property, the Ottawa project elevates the extended-stay experience, offering travellers the luxury that is coming home to a spacious suite, paired with five-star hotel service, in-suite housekeeping and a concierge that will accommodate to every need and a personal trainer at your service.

Amenities include the SoHo Water Gardens with a trellised exterior, outdoor designer kitchens and barbecues, a hot tub and lap pool, state-of-the-art gym designed and managed by trainer and two-time heavyweight champion Dalton Brown, a private movie screening room and hotel-calibre concierge service.

Henry Wu, Metropolitan Hotels president, commented, “As one of Canada’s premier luxury hotel operators, we are committed to crafting memorable travel experiences for all of our guests. Guests of SoHo Metropolitan Residences Ottawa will benefit from hotel-trained management and concierge services that will personalize and tailor the needs of each individual stay. The layout and furnishings of each room is specifically designed for extended-stay guests.”

Each suite will be outfitted with floor-to-ceiling, wall-to-wall windows and spa-inspired bathrooms, offering shower stall and rainshower heads and Aveda amenities. Gluckstein-designed kitchens are fully equipped with quartz countertops, glass-tiled backsplashes, European appliances and concealed fridges. Other features included WIFI, Samsung LED 3D Smart televisions and designer interiors.
