Remembering Louis Grant

Veteran Jamaican hotelier, Louis Grant passed away on March 5, 2023 at 86.

Grant, who was retired, had worked in the tourism industry for over 50 years and was of the stalwart general managers at Sandals Resorts where he’d worked for close to 25 years.

In 2007, Grant was named the Jamaica Hotel and Tourist Association’s (JHTA) Hotelier of the Year.

Grant was also a recipient of the Jamaica Hotel and Tourist Association’s (JHTA) Lifetime Achievement Award.
