RIU Hotels & Resorts Just Keeps Making It New
RIU Hotels & Resorts is confidently stating that those who vacation at its properties won’t find them looking a little long in the tooth.
Armin Kaestner, the company’s vice-president of sales, contracting and business for the USA and Canada, the Caribbean, Mexico, Costa Rica and Panama, reports the company has each of its properties undergo major refurbishments after it reaches the 10-year mark, a policy that ensures they will always have a newish ambiance.
Hotels have what Kaestner calls a “natural cycle,” adding RIU guests will “never think, ‘This looks like an old hotel.'”
