Sunwing is advising agents that the Riu Palace Punta Cana has re-opened, offering guests a host of new amenities along with new, sleek decor.
The resort is exclusive to the Signature Collection by Sunwing and is set on the pristine white sands of Arena Gorda Beach and surrounded by acres of tropical gardens.
The all-inclusive resort now features a new interior design in common areas such as the lobby, however, the original architectural theme of a European palace has been preserved. All 676 rooms have received a makeover and feature spacious bathrooms that include large walk-in showers.
Around the resort, the property now features four new swimming pools – one of which is next to the new RiuLand Kids Club and includes slides for little ones to enjoy.
Guests also enjoy access to the RIU’s Splash Water World water park that is located within the same complex. Other new additions include a new spa offering an array of indulgent treatments and a new state-of-the-art gym.
The hotel now offers five bars, including a cocktail lounge, a lobby bar, a 24-hours sports bar, a poolside bar with a swim-up bar and a new café and pastry shop called Capuchino. For culinary indulgences, guests can dine at the new Spanish restaurant, La Bodega, in addition to enjoying meals at five other dining venues that received all-new designs during the renovation.
