Rooms fully upgraded at Ohana Waikiki East
The Ohana Waikiki East has rung in the New Year with newly upgraded guest rooms, as part of a recent US$2 million renovation of the property.
From new carpeting and paint to brand new mattresses and bedding, the hotel’s guest rooms exude contemporary island ambiance.
The refreshed rooms feature an island-style design with neutral hues and sandstone accents. Each features all-new bedding atop plush Serta Concierge beds plus 42-inch flat-screen TVs. Bathrooms were also updated with modern handheld showerheads.
The property features free Internet access in all guest rooms, including free Wi-Fi in the lobby and most common areas; free local phone calls and free calls to the mainland US and Canada (for the first 15 minutes); free daily local newspapers at the reception desk; free in-room coffee and tea; a free OHANA drawstring beach tote (one per room) and more.
The hotel’s central location is close Waikiki Beach, the Honolulu Zoo and Waikiki Aquarium, and a short drive from the Hawaii Convention Center. Room rates start at US$139 plus tax per night.
