Royal Irish Accepted Into Virtuoso

Royal Irish Tours (RIT) has been accepted into Virtuoso’s exclusive portfolio of luxury travel partners as the first supplier designated solely for the Canadian market.

According to Conor Duffy, vice-president of RIT, inclusion in Virtuoso will open up new sales and marketing opportunities to the network’s 2,200 Canadian luxury travel advisors and their highly desirable clientele. Virtuoso agencies in Canada sell more than CA$2.8 billion annually, making the network a growing and significant force in luxury travel in the country.

Said Duffy: “Virtuoso’s acceptance process is incredibly selective, so becoming a preferred partner is a true honour. The reputation Virtuoso member advisors have for outstanding dedication to their clients is a perfect fit with our own bespoke approach to service. Now that we’re part of this renowned network, we look forward to offering Virtuoso’s Canadian advisors and their clients special amenities, values and experiences that surpass their expectations.”

RIT’s acceptance into Virtuoso also gives it direct relationships with Canada’s leading leisure travel agencies.

Tim Morgan, director, business strategy, Canada for Virtuoso, noted that: “Travel to Ireland from Canada has been growing steadily, with the number of travelers doubling since 2010. Virtuoso’s Canadian advisors asked us to add RIT to our portfolio as a respected tour operator who understands this market and can fulfill the increasing client demand. We’re delighted to welcome this family-owned and operated partner into the Virtuoso network and extend its experiential offerings to our Canadian clients.”
