Royal Lahaina Resort opens Jazz Club Maui

The Royal Lahaina Resort on Maui is opening its new Jazz Club Maui at the property, starting May 26 with host band SLAM featuring David Choy and Kelly Covington. Guests will enjoy world-class entertainment, featuring Hawaii’s most talented musicians playing smooth jazz, rhythm and blues, and dance music late into the evening each Saturday night. In making the announcement, Elizabeth Bell, director of marketing and business development, said, “The Jazz Club Maui at the Royal Lahaina Resort will combine great food and drinks, top-shelf music, and a sophisticated, yet, inviting, lounge experience. It will be great fun, as we jazz up Saturday nights on Maui, making them even more memorable for our guests.”SLAM featuring David Choy and Kelly Covington spotlights some of Hawaii’s most sought after talent. Recording artist Choy is a premier saxophonist and Covington is a highly touted jazz and R&B vocalist. The band will play a mix of their original tunes and music from some of today’s hottest jazz and R&B artists. Admission-only is $15 per person, plus tax. A pupu, drink and show package is $49 per person, plus tax, and a prime rib/seafood buffet, drink and show combo is $69 per person, plus tax. The Jazz Club Maui will be open 8:30 p.m. to midnight Saturdays beginning May 26 and offers complimentary valet parking at the Royal Lahaina Resort.
