Royal Scenic Launches Revamped Specialist Program

Royal Scenic has launched its 2017 Certified Asia Specialist (CAS) program.

CAS was designed by Royal Scenic to help travel agents become experts of Asia and better be able promote the region and sell travel products to various destinations.

The 2017 program features a completely revamped learning platform. According to officials, the course is now more engaging and interactive, making it easier for agents to complete. Course content continues to focus on several key destinations and many carriers that service routes from Canada to those destinations.

“When it comes to Asia, we are the experts. And as we strive to become an indispensable partner to travel professionals across the nation, we think it’s important to offer a specialist program that will enable them to sell Asia with confidence, and then to continue providing support so that they can successfully meet the needs of their customers,” says Harold Ho, VP Supplier Relations and Product at Royal Scenic.

The aims of the CAS program are: To educate the Canadian travel agent community on unique value propositions, features and benefits of key destinations in Asia; To enable the Certified Asia Specialist to effectively sell tour products to Asia, thereby increasing outbound leisure, incentive and corporate travel from Canada to Asia; To contribute to the effectiveness of the travel profession and to exceed end-user consumer expectations.

Agents who reach certification status can obtain 12 ACTA-approved credits towards CTC certification and enjoy a suite of benefits exclusive to CAS agents. One such benefit is reduced pricing on fam trips organized by Royal Scenic to Asia.
