Santana records documentary in Puerto Vallarta

Legendary rocker Carlos Santana will pay homage to his Mexican heritage, Mexico’s people and its culture in a new documentary produced as part of the Mexico Tourism Board’s “Live it to Believe it” campaign, which currently features Puerto Vallarta in its Vallarta-Nayarit promotion.

Spots for the production were filmed in some of Puerto Vallarta’s most well-known locations, such as its Malecon, Lady of Guadalupe Church and Cuale River Island. Leading hotels – including Garza Blanca, Hacienda San Angel, Marriott Casa Magna and the River Café restaurant – will also be featured in the documentary which, will be titled “CORAZÓN, LIVE FROM MEXICO: LIVE IT TO BELIEVE IT,” in promotion of Mexico’s campaign and Santana’s new CD.

Included in the documentary will be a concert Santana and other artists – such as Gloria Estefan, Fher from Mexican rock group Maná, Lila Downs and Juanes – performed in Guadalajara. (http://www.visitpuertovallarta.com)
