SAP Concur takes a deep dive into the future of Canadian business travel

One of the things that Kristen Hrycoy. Senior Global Partner Business Manager, of SAP Concur will tell you about SAP Concur’s 8th Global Business Travel Survey is that the report’s “overarching finding is that business travel remains important, but travellers are navigating a much more complicated environment.”

Hrycoy will also tell you that the survey discovered that “70% of Canadian business travellers are hesitant to take business trips this year, largely because of geopolitical tensions, travel disruptions and concerns related to visas and immigration requirements.”

And she observed: “The big takeaway is that Canadian business travel is not going away, but it is becoming more deliberate and employee focused. Business travel continues to play an important role in building relationships, supporting growth and creating professional opportunities.”
