SILVERSEA NAMES CANADIAN SALES DIRECTOR

Silversea Cruises has appointed Lori Nojaim to the newly created position of director of national sales for Canada. She will report to Kristian Anderson, vice-president of sales for North America. Cruise Strategies Ltd. has long partnered with Silversea to provide sales and marketing support aimed at developing the Canadian market. With Nojaim’s appointment, the line is now looking to take more of those responsibilities in-house, but will continue to use Cruise Strategies in a more limited role for the remainder of the year.

“We’re very pleased to welcome Lori to the Silversea team,” said Anderson. “While Cruise Strategies has been instrumental in helping us penetrate the Canadian market, we are now ready to take the next step with our own internal staff supporting Lori as she works to further strengthen our relationship with the Canadian travel agent community.

Nojaim will be responsible for building sales in the Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver and Calgary markets. She joins Silversea with a background that includes 15 years as business development manager for Royal Caribbean International. She received her master’s degree in international relations from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University.
