With a collection of five luxury resorts, Barbados’ Elegant Resorts has something sure to please any agents’ clients looking for an upscale Bajan holiday.
The boutique collection includes Tamarind, Colony Club, Crystal Cove, Turtle Beach (popular with Canadians) and The House, a mix of traditional resort, adults-only and unique all-inclusive options with room counts ranging from 34 to 160. Each feature such amenities as beach and pool ambassador service, complimentary motorized and non-motorized watersports and free WiFi.
All of the properties are located on Barbados’ popular West Coast, with the exception of Turtle Beach which is on the South Coast.
Several Elegant officials were in Toronto yesterday to spread the world on all that Elegant has to offer. Sylvia Scholey, vice-president of sales, marketing and e-commerce, noted that service is one aspect that sets Elegant apart.
“There is a lot of good product out there. The difference is personalization and I think we’re very good at it,” she said, adding that Elegant has a strong family offering on the island.
Each of the resorts is also very keen on promoting the destination, offering guests unique tours and bringing cultural experiences to guests, such dialect lessons, Calypso dancing and Bajan road tennis.
