Air New Zealand and Tourism Australia have launched a million dollar partnership encouraging North Americans to tick Australia off their \”to do\” list. The two partners are making easy to do by offering one low fare to six of Air New Zealand\’s Australia gateways — Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Cairns, Adelaide and Coolangatta (the Gold Coast.)
The campaign will be heavily promoted across multiple digital channels, including a TripAdvisor destination page, and runs from through Oct. 27. The promotion, which also features partnership with blogger community, Go Mighty, highlights the \”only in Australia\” experiences found on many travellers\’ must-see lists, as well the benefits of flying with Air New Zealand, a leader in world-class air travel.
From the US and Canada, Air New Zealand flies via four gateways – Los Angeles, San Francisco, Honolulu and Vancouver to Australia. Air New Zealand provides easy connections from these North American gateways via Auckland.
Air New Zealand will be hosting a trade webinar on its service to Australia on Sept. 30, 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. PDT. Agents can register for the webinar at https://www2.gotomeeting.com/register/440264402 .
And as an additional incentive to the trade, the airline is giving US and Canadian agents the opportunity to win flights to Australia.
To qualify, an individual retail agent must sell seven or more tickets to any Air New Zealand Australian gateway.
