As Collette’s vice-president Canada, Ron Lonsdale tells it, Canadians are excited to be able to get back out and explore the world and he’s confident that while there have been ‘rumblings of a recession … the pandemic was an eye-opener for a lot of travellers … and we don’t foresee [them] electing to give up on life changing experiences that they’ve been saving up for, for quite some time.”

At one point in the conversation, Lonsdale tells Canadian Travel Press: “We value all of our travel advisors – they mean so much to us. That’s part of the reason why, during the pandemic, we offered the Advanced Commission Program.

We also felt as if it was the right thing to do during such a trying time.”
