Spreading The Love

Celebrities helped spread the love this Valentine’s Day weekend in support of Dwyane Wade’s Annual All-Star Bowling Classic in Toronto.

The star-studded Saturday event benefited Game Changer, the collaborative integrated sports program to assist youth in under-served communities in South Florida and the Caribbean that was created by The Sandals Foundation and Wade’s World Foundation.

Wade told the gathering that he was grateful for β€œan opportunity to team up with Sandals,” which uses its Sandals Foundation – the non-profit arm of Sandals Resorts International – in different philanthropic projects throughout the Caribbean, including educational, environmental and community initiatives.

The Saturday event drew Wade’s fellow NBA all-star Chris Bosh, members of the Toronto Blue Jays and Wade’s wife, actress Gabrielle Union.

Tour operators that offer Sandals properties fielded bowling teams in the competition.
