Celebrities helped spread the love this Valentine’s Day weekend in support of Dwyane Wade’s Annual All-Star Bowling Classic in Toronto.
The star-studded Saturday event benefited Game Changer, the collaborative integrated sports program to assist youth in under-served communities in South Florida and the Caribbean that was created by The Sandals Foundation and Wade’s World Foundation.
Wade told the gathering that he was grateful for “an opportunity to team up with Sandals,” which uses its Sandals Foundation – the non-profit arm of Sandals Resorts International – in different philanthropic projects throughout the Caribbean, including educational, environmental and community initiatives.
The Saturday event drew Wade’s fellow NBA all-star Chris Bosh, members of the Toronto Blue Jays and Wade’s wife, actress Gabrielle Union.
Tour operators that offer Sandals properties fielded bowling teams in the competition.
