Star Clippers Waives Single Supplement
Star Clippers is embracing the trend of more and more travellers choosing to go solo by waiving single supplement fees on select 2018 Mediterranean and transatlantic sailings.
Star Clippers is waiving single supplements on a variety of 2018 Mediterranean sailings, ranging from five to 14 nights on board the Royal Clipper and Star Flyer. Sample sailings include a five-night Spain and Morocco itinerary from Lisbon to Malaga on April 23, and a 12-night version of the same sailing that goes on to the Balearic Islands, Corisca and Cannes. Rates range from US$1,385 for the five-night sailing to US$3,030 for 12-nights. On the Star Flyer, a seven-night French Riviera sailing round trip from Cannes departs June 2, with rates starting at US$1,690.
For solo travellers looking for longer journeys, Star Clippers has also waived the single supplement on two epic transatlantic sailings – including a 20-night Eastbound Crossing, from St. Maarten to Lisbon aboard the Star Flyer, which features 19 nights at sea. Sailing departs March 31 and rates start at US$2,350. Travellers who want a mix of land and sea might like the 28-night Eastbound Crossing from Barbados to Cannes with stops in the Azores, Portugal, Morocco, Spain, the Balearic Islands and France. This sailing aboard the Royal Clipper departs Barbados on April 7 with rates starting at US$4,020.
