STAR CLIPPERS WAIVES SINGLE SUPPLEMENT

Star Clippers is making a tall ship sailing vacation a more affordable option for solo travellers by waiving the single-supplement fee on seven sailings in November and December. In addition to the fee waiver, singles also can take advantage of savings of up to 66% off the brochure fare plus a complimentary one-category cabin upgrade — offers typically not available to single cruisers.

The eligible dates are Royal Clipper’s Nov. 23 sailing; Star Clipper’s Dec. 14 and 21 cruises, and Star Flyer’s Nov. 24 and Dec. 15, 22 and 29 departures. Fares begin at $1,385 p.p. for a single in a double cabin, including the savings. Because each sailing has limited space for singles and the offer is capacity controlled, agents with interested clients should book soon to take advantage of the savings.

Sailing roundtrip Barbados Nov. 23, Royal Clipper’s seven-night itinerary calls at St. Lucia, Dominica, Antigua, St. Kitts, Iles des Saintes and Martinique. On the Dec. 14 departure, Star Clipper sails roundtrip St. Maarten on a seven-night cruise with calls at Anguilla, the British Virgin Islands, St. Kitts and St. Barts. Star Clipper’s Dec. 21 seven-night Leeward Islands itinerary also sails roundtrip St. Maarten and visits Nevis, Dominica, Iles de Saintes, Guadeloupe, Antigua and St. Barts.

Star Flyer’s seven-night Costa Rica sailings are roundtrip from Puerto Caldera, Costa Rica, and showcase the region’s lush landscapes and abundance of wildlife. The Nov. 24 itinerary sails from Balboa, Panama, to Puerto Caldera with calls at Isla Iguana and Isla Parida, Panama, and Golfito, Drake Bay, Isla del Caño (evening scenic sailing), Quepos and National Reserve of Curu/Isla Tortugas, Costa Rica. The Dec. 15 and 29 Costa Rica and Nicaragua route calls at San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua, and Playa del Coco, National Park Santa Rosa, Flamingo Beach and National Reserve of Curu/Isla Tortugas, Costa Rica. The Dec. 22 Costa Rica and Panama itinerary calls at Isla Parida, Golfito, Drake Bay, Quepos and National Reserve of Curu/Isla Tortugas with scenic sailing around Isla del Caño.
