Sunquest, ALBA launch ‘Tax Buster’ deals
Sunquest is featuring a “Tax Buster”sale on all of its 2013 Mediterranean seven- and 11-night cruises, whereby it pays the fuel surcharge and fees in addition to offering a free stateroom upgrade to an ocean view balcony cabin. To take advantage of these savings, customers need only book their Sunquest Med cruise by Jan. 31 for departures between April and October. Applicable sailings include the MSC Splendida’s Western Med itinerary out of Rome from $1,799 p.p. (April 4 or 18 departures), the MSC Fantasia’s Eastern Med itinerary departing from Venice from $1,989 (May 4 or 18 departures), or the MSC Divina’s Eastern Med itinerary, also out of Venice, from $2,039 (May 10 or 17 departures). Prices have already been adjusted to reflect the “Tax Buster”savings and include airfare, transfers in destination and the seven-night cruise. The MSC Divina and MSC Fantasia also offer seven-night “Cruise of a Lifetime”itineraries in the Eastern Med that include the cruise along with a day in Venice and two nights in Rome, complete with a city tour and dinner. Meanwhile, ALBATours is featuring a “Tax Buster”sale on its 2013 escorted coach tours in Italy, whereby it pays the fuel surcharge and fees and all hotel taxes, representing a savings of up to $500 per couple. ALBA’s escorted coach tours range from five to 14 nights and the package price not only includes the tour itself, but roundtrip air out of Toronto on Alitalia, accommodation in centrally located four-star hotels and breakfast daily.
