Sunwing Adds Miami

Sunwing has added Miami to its list of vacation options this winter, offering up to 10 direct flights a week from four gateways – Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and Quebec City.

From Toronto, Saturday, Sunday and Thursday departures will start Dec. 1. Montreal residents can take advantage of flights on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays starting Dec. 1. Convenient Saturday and Sunday departures will also be available from Quebec City beginning on Dec. 8, while weekly flights from Ottawa will depart Saturdays starting Dec. 15.

Vice-president of USA and Cruises, Reg Mendes, noted that the move to add services to Miami this coming winter was a result of consumer demand.

“Miami is a hub for beach and city stays and much more. This new flight program will offer our customers more ways to explore Florida together with even more convenient cruise package options,” he said.

Sunwing offers cruise packages with Norwegian Cruise Line and MSC Cruises out of Miami.

For customers looking to explore on land, all Miami vacation packages include a car rental. In Miami, travellers can opt to stay at Residence Inn Miami Sunny Isles Beach, which offers spacious suites with fully equipped kitchens and easy access to Sunny Isles Beach, shopping and golf. Located right on Sunny Isles Beach, Sole on the Ocean features an oceanfront pool and is close to popular restaurants and activities.

Canadians want to visit Fort Lauderdale, a short drive from Miami, can stay at Ocean Sky Hotel and Resort, which enjoys a beachfront location near the historic Las Olas Boulevard or Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort which features an ocean view rooftop pool bar and family friendly amenities including a supervised kids club.
