Sunwing Celebrates Inaugural Mazatlán Flight
The first Sunwing flight from Montreal to Mazatlán, Mexico took to the air yesterday (Dec. 19), marking the first of this season’s new weekly flight service to this popular Pacific Mexican destination, departing every Tuesday until April 16, 2019, inclusive.
Sam Char, executive vice-president for Sunwing Travel Group in Quebec, commented on the news, “We are excited to be offering travellers in Montreal with even more ways to Vacation Better this winter. Sunwing offers a range of resorts in Mazatlán for travellers of all ages, interests and budgets. Vacationers may choose to stay at Riu Emerald Bay, a popular resort overlooking Brujas Beach that’s a short taxi ride from the shopping and nightlife of the famous Golden Zone. Another is El Cid Castilla Beach, offering the best of both beach relaxation and city exploration.
Sunwing also marked the start of service from Thunder Bay, Ont. to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, yesterday.
